The plugin is said to be supported by Ableton 9 64bit on my Windows and the plug-in is even 64bit. Help me please. Operating System: Mac; AU or VST? How to install VST or AU plug-ins on Mac; AU or VST? Live on Mac supports both the Audio Unit (AU) and VST2 and VST3 (10.1 and later) formats. Which format you choose to use is up to you, bearing in mind the following tips: If sharing projects with Windows users, it's better to use VST. The VST format is cross. Problem #1 The most important issue is that none of my VSTs are showing up in any DAW. Here are my specs: Windows 10 I7 quad core 16gb ram 2 SSDs 2 Samsung Evo 500Gb SSDs. Ableton Live 9.5 (32 & 64- bit installed) Sibelius 7.5 (32-bit installation) ProTools Izotope Rx Izotope ozone Kontakt Various freeware. All VSTs/VSTis/.DLLs will not show up.
hii got myself sorted out with a new laptop the other day and i been installing live then putting some of my favourite freeware vsts on it too. most of the vsts work fine but some of them dont show up in live's browser, even though they show up in my vst folder in windows. example - izotope vinyl, i installed it all properly and it says its been installed but live doesnt show it in its browser.
its an hp laptop with windows 7 on it and im running live 6.0.11 - maybe its a windows 7 bug thing?
anyone have any ideas though?
