Thought I'd post about a project that I've been working on for a few weeks that I thought you lot might like here
I used to use a custom skin with Live 9 and when I upgraded to Live 10 I never bothered changing the skin/theme until recently. I spent a few hours on Google and only really found a small collection of Ableton 10 themes. Looking at videos on YouTube about how to make your own themes, it looked pretty tricky - editing text files with colour values, spending a few hours getting it all to look right.
I thought there must be an easier way of doing it so I set about to make an visual editor for themes. I've got a little background in web development so I started making an online editor where you could take any of the existing Live themes and customise any of the colours by clicking on elements and then quickly changing the colour. This made the process so much quicker, creating themes in a matter of minutes. I kept developing and built a whole site around it, allowing for a whole community to browse, download or create their own themes.
You can customise any theme on the site, making your own remixed version of it! And there's over 190 themes from about 300 members already
