I am a pretty newbie at recording stuff. I recently bought the Mustang I and wanted to start recording.
My problem is : Each Software I tried (Adobe Soundbooth, Riffworks, Ableton Live Lite) recognizes my amp(interface) if ASIO4all or AsioFender.
I can see that each software knows I am in and recognizes the volume of my guitar and everything, even if i start recording I see everything happen.
BUT:
When I want to play my recordings everything is dead. I cant hear anything. Every sound in the software is just dead. In Riffworks there is this drumbackground. When I open Riffworks without my guitar trough Mustang I hear everything. But when I choose the ASIO driver then the drummer is mute.
Even the testsound in Ableton doesnt work.

I dont know how to fix it and I would really appreciate your help! I have an electric guitar (Squier Strat) and a Fender Mustang 1 amplifier.

Fender Mustang As An Interface

I want to use my guitar to create tracks on the 'Live' Mixing Software.

I also have a cord running from the outlet labeled 'USB' on the amp into one of the USB outlets on my computer. However, this doesn't seem to flow through to the LIVE mixing software.
I am new to LIVE software, and I have been able to rig up a USB microphone that does connect to the software, and I have successfully created a vocal track on the software, using the microphone and my stunningly beautiful vocal chords (*sarcasm*). However, I can't seem create a guitar track.Windows
