Hi everyone,Am having trouble with VST. I read an article about the 5 best vsts out there (http://abletonlife.com/top-5-free-vst-p .. ac-edition). I'm a rookie so just wanted to try one out. I currently have Ableton Live, not Ableton suite and I'm using a mac.
So I chose one from the article. http://www.lowcoders.fr/downloadRelease.php?name=KD.dmg - note this is an automatic download page.
I download the file and go through all the motions (installing, agreeing to terms, saving on my hard drive etc)
This vst is now saved in my: library/audio/plug-ins/components
The file is called kingdubby.component
When I go back to Live I open up my preferences and go to the tab filefolder - plug-in sources and under this turn on the 'use vst plug-in custom folder' and browse to specify the folder (library/audio/plug-ins/components), I then rescan and click on the plug-in device browser symbol. Sadly kingdubby.component is not there.
If anyone can help me, I would honestly consider mailing you cash and I'm broke, that's how much I want to get this working haha!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
